PBFD Editorial Partnerships
PBFD has developed dedicated editorial partnerships to extend the impact of the initiative beyond the live event and to create long-term technical and scientific outputs for the international façade community.
At PBFD 2026, the first PBFD Book, Performance-Based Façade Design: Façade Challenges, Reflections, and Sustainability, will be formally presented. The volume is published within a dedicated series by Springer Nature and brings together invited contributions from selected speakers and presenters from the first three editions of the initiative, documenting emerging research, applied case studies and advanced performance-based design approaches for façades.
In parallel, PBFD has established a second editorial partnership with ASTM International. All speakers of the PBFD 2026 Workshop on Façade Serviceability: Failures and Lessons Learned are invited to submit a technical paper for a dedicated ASTM–PBFD Selected Technical Papers (STP) publication.

Three Façade Exposition Areas are available to showcase your projects in one of the exclusive locations in Venice.
Located on Calle Nuova Sant’Agnese, in Venice's prestigious Art Kilometer, these spaces feature large street-facing windows and are near iconic landmarks like the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Pinault Foundation, and the Accademia Galleries. They vary in size and can be used for daytime and nighttime exhibitions, including video displays or mockup presentations.
